I just posted in the thread about dogs.
I need to remember how to link threads.
Work is killing me. No time to play.

The dog thread should be just under this one now.
    Enjoy!

Beautiful! When I spent the summer after high school in '66 in Junction City, OR. I acquired Fritz, a four year old Shepard. Sadly I couldn't take him back to the Bay Area. He probably would have eaten my Mom's Pomeranian anyway. HAH! He was VERY protective of me on leash and looked my cousin's husband in the eye with Fritzs hands on Bill's shoulders. Bill was 6'2". I still remember that guy and miss him. The dog ... not Bill. LOL!

Small details today. Added some courtesy lights for fun. Also added a couple American flag decals to each side. :oldglory:

Mine was the rear drivers door. My daughter went to close the door and it bounced back open. I closed it and it was fine so I shrugged it off. Next time she tired to get out, she couldn't and I was unable to move the child lock button on the side of the door. The cable inside the door that connects to the latch had come off somehow. Had to remove the whole latch, take off the cover, reattach the cable, put it back together. I have not had an issue since doing that.

Gave the inside of the frame a fluid film treatment. Also did the inside of the front lower control arms and radiator core support. Used 3 cans for that. Next will be inside the rockers and inside the floor supports on the body. I expect the whole job will take 5-6 cans to do a thorough job. Outside of the frame and everything else under there is cleaned and painted 2-3 times a year so no fluid film will be used on any exterior surface.

So I had to do something about these weak headlights. I’m still not sure if I want HIDs or if I want to retrofit my headlights. But I needed something ASAP. Out here in Buffalo, when it rains you can’t see anything. We don’t have street reflectors because of snow plows so I usually just guess where the line is. I hope these led headlight bulbs will help a little. So far they seem much stronger than stock. They also look better In my opinion.

Highly recommend @Headlight Revolution. They fit perfectly and everything fits perfectly with the dust cover on. No drilling.

Do you get any distance projection with them? That seems to be the problem with LED's. Brighter in town in front of the truck, but at highway speeds in the dark, they just don't have the reach.

LED will be brighter but the light does not project as far. That has always been my experience with them.

    Can I still get them?
One thread said that Phillips discontinued that bulb or something.
I should have ordered the first time you said HID for $78! Seriously.
Do you have to cut dust cap?
Another person mentioned HID'S with no dust cover cut. Just curious.
    Thanks.

I have the xenon depot pro LEDs right now. They're ok, but they're probably not that much brighter than stock. I may try the Philips H9 bulbs next. They're supposed to be twice as bright as stock.

Do you know of a good place & price on them?
Apparently xenon depot quit carrying these.
    @2016Pro will know Tomorrow.
I need a temp that will match the Morimoto XD fogs I want.
I have heard these were close...
Thanks to all & good luck.

This is all regarding the Philips HID kit.

Blacked out badges, window deflectors, smoked 3rd brake light. I have a Borla muffler on order as well as some color matched engine cover stickers. I'll be painting the stock wheels soon as well. Falken tires in the fall as well.
My 4Runner is Nautical Blue so I went with these. Those circles are tricky, aren't they?DSCN5410.jpg

    I appreciate it.
I am going for one color & an HID kit for low beam; maybe high also.
Again, much appreciated & looks good.
Just not what I am going for.
I want all forward lights to be of the same ° or very close.
    Thanks.

My buddy just did the H9 mod and he's shocked by the improvement. Here's an output pic. Philips H9's from Amazon.

There's not a drop-in led in existence that will come close in performance as far as distance projection goes.
