Some people are just scared of the dark i guess. The concept behind having the meso puddle lights on a switch is more for a functional ditch light. Get some light out there without bolting ugly brackets to the hood. Thats the sales pitch from my understanding.

Wow, I like this. I have a pair of led strips from my prev. Colorado bed sitting in a drawer. Can u share a little more of where u connected to the dome circuit. Genius!

I went to the map light / dome light and down the A pillar. Originally I did this because I installed footwell lights. No idea why these didn't come with them, definitely not new technology. I then decided to add the puddle lights so I just tied into the same wiring I ran for the footwell lights. All my interior lights are LED so no concern about pulling too much through the circuit even with the added lights.

Here's what I used for the puddle lights. I wired them so only the white lights come on when the doors are unlocked or opened.

Ummmmm they would be more rock lights so to speak than ditch lights because they face down not forward. I think it's more for those that want some diffused light at camp. Rock lights and the like work well for that since they are facing down and splash the light around the vehicle.

Barny. Inclip 5 plastic center dashboard parts. Plug the new harness into the climate control harness, run two wires and clip the lights in. Hardest part is getting the harness.

Nice! I may have to use this. I'm hoping I can find the wire that feeds the puddle light and make my own switch, its only on/off/auto

Someone on one of these threads said that a 4runner on 20" wheels would never look right...
Here is proof that it can... Beautifully executed!
    Gorgeous truck; congratulations!

Actually did this last week. Paid $99 for it. Seems a bit much for what it is, but I suppose it does keep things out of view.

I haven't noticed a difference in the sound. At night, my storage tote with a yellow lid is noticeable. I was also hoping less dust would collect back there when I use the rear window.

We didn't get one with ours either.
With the dog cage; it wouldn't fit anyway.
Don't really need it so we didn't care.

I wish my sr5 came with one... But I'm not willing to spend 100 bucks on it.

I do have pretty dark windows... 15% on top of the already "tinted" glass... But still would useful at times.

Trunk covers are kinda pointless. They may hide your belongings but a thief knows that if you have a cover, you're trying to hide something right? So that will not stop their curiosity or protect anything.

At night, you can't really see the cover itself through the tint. It just looks like darkness in the back.

I can leave our rear window half down with the dog cage! It would take a long time to get in, so it isn't secure. I run into places (just quickly) all the time with it open.
    Get into my trap... lol
There are two anchor points that go to the front metal loops in the floor.
I like the ability to leave it open.
I think people think we are cops with the cage. We get some odd looks!Resized_20190315_193627.jpg

Blacked out badges, window deflectors, smoked 3rd brake light. I have a Borla muffler on order as well as some color matched engine cover stickers. I'll be painting the stock wheels soon as well. Falken tires in the fall as well.

    Thanks fellas.

Not quite LOL. But im not huge either... Im 5'9"

Even with a king bed there isnt enough room. We use to let him when he was little. My other corso use to sleep in bed with us as well. Finally the wife was like THATS ENOUGH.... No more dogs in the bed.

He is more bonded to my wife than me, he doesnt even like me kissing her LOL

Here is my favorite of our 3... His name is Battle. A corso mix, a little smaller but more athletic. A great hiking partner.

That is a beautiful dog. Yeah, we don't have the room for a mastiff after dog sitting my sister's! They are great dogs but need a ton of room. So we got a GSD that requires a ton of attention! Lol
Are all 3 Cane Corsos? That is a lot of food!

Thanks bud, beautiful dog as well. Battle the corso mix is about 90# Lycan is 146#

The 3rd dog is a little shiba inu... The most hard headed breed IN THE WORLD. A cool looking little dog, but ill never have another LOL

The corsos do need some room. We live out in the woods on a couple acres, and are in walking distance to state forest land with miles of trails.

We go though about 100 pounds of dog food a month, and with the kind we buy that costs us about $110 a month.
